pb Ridder-Patrick, Jane A Handbook of Medical Astrology 1st Arkana, Penguin Group 1990 £25   Original pictorial outwardly glossy card covers in vgc, with traces of creasing towards centre of front cover and to upper outer corner of same and lower outer corner of rear cover; slight scratching to top edge and part of outer edge of rear cover; moderate rubbing to extremities of rear spine hinge; moderate reading crease to spine; and publisher’s barcode label adhered over lower margin of rear cover. Page-edges lightly toned. Inside of front cover with small, neat vintage Watkins Books Ltd. address sticker. Inside of rear cover with two minor accidental slip-of-a-pen marks. Printed pages mare clean, uncreased, and mostly unmarked. The exception is that there are a few handwritten names to the lower margin of the final page of the index, which was all I could find. Externally very good; internally vgc+. Overall, a decent better-than-vgc copy of the sought-after first edition.
