hb Hazelrigg, John Astrosophic Principles 1st thus Llewellyn Publications Ltd., Los Angeles, California 1948 £50 After the rare original edition of 1917 Original full pebbled dark blue cloth in vgc, with moderate rubbing to extremities of spine and outer corners of boards; light rubbing along spine hinges, with traces to edges of boards; and moderate scattered staining to boards. Gilt titling to front board and spine relatively age-faded as usual with this edition. Tiny bump to outer edge of rear board. Small blue-inked note to lower outer margin of ffep, but no deliberate previous owner markings found to any internal page – just a trace of thumb-smudging spotted to outer margin of p. 86. Minor binding strain between pp. 28 and 29, as usual on this edition, but cords holding. Tiny 2mm chip lost from bottom edge of final leaf of advertisements., with slight lower marginal creasing to same. Tiny traces of staining to rear endpapers, but a generally clean copy internally.
