pb Sandbach, John Degree Analyses: Dwadashamsas and Deeper Meanings 2nd printing Seek-It Publications 1983 £50 Stated second printing, 11/83, after the first edition of 1978 Original outwardly glossy pictorial card covers in vgc, with mild reading crease down spine, light creasing to lower margin of front cover, patch of wear with 5mm tear to bottom edge of rear cover at inner margin, light rubbing to extremities of spine and to bottom edge of front cover; and a few small traces of staining; slight discoloration towards top of front cover. Internally mostly unmarked, with minor apparently accidental slip-of-a-pen marks to or near outer margins of pp. 90, 129, 139, 155, 163, 171 and 175 and to inside of rear cover the only permanent markings I could find, a lesson in not holding a pen while reading a book; small plain-pencilled marginal marks to p. 97, 119 and 169 (erasable). Inner paper hinge cracked between pp. 134 and 135, but all pages still firmly glued to back-strip. Minor corrected dog-ear to lower outer corner of leaf comprising pp. 165-6. A near-very-good copy of this rare, sought-after book, covers now conserved non-adhesively in mylar sleeve, which is itself slightly torn around top of spine and could be removed if unwanted.
