Lacks only the 2 pages of advertising matter at the back – a previous owner evidently decided to dispense with them at the point of rebinding. About 19 pages within have neatly ruled green ink underlining, which is unobtrusive; one of the same pages also had a green-inked marginal bracket. Some plain-pencilled mark-up to a few pages too. Light traces of creasing across lower outer corners of earlier leaves. No other faults found. An acceptable reading and study copy of the first edition. Remains strongly bound; price factors in faults.
