hb Sepharial Astrology: How to Make and Read Your Own Horoscope 1st thus William Rider & Son Ltd., Cathedral House, Paternoster Row, E.C., London 1913 £45 132pp. The first printing of the revised and enlarged edition, and the first Rider printing, as shown by the 1913 date being printed to the title page. Expanded from the original Pearson edition of 1905, which was only 126 pages. Original full green cloth with black zodiacal illustration to front board and black bordering and titling to front board and spine, as issued. Cloth in vgc+ condition for its age, with light rubbing to extremities of spine; minimal wear to tips of outer corners of front board; original imperial printed price has been subtly effaced from front board, else near-fine. Ffep with plain-pencilled number, and small rectangular piece at top neatly cut out to remove a former owner’s signature. Very occasional plain-pencilled marginalia. Binding looks a little strained between pp. 80 and 81, but cords holding. No permanent markings or other faults found. An excellent copy of the collectible first Rider printing in its original state
