hb Robson, Vivian E. A Students’ Text Book of Astrology 2nd J. B. Lippincott Company, Philadelphia n.d. £75 This edition is undated in print but believed to date from the early 1930s. One of Robson’s most important books, designed for the intermediate student Original full orange cloth in near-fine condition, with minimal signs of rubbing to extremities of spine hinges and tips of outer corners of boards. No staining or tears. Upper outer corners very slightly bumped but the book lies square, and the black titling to front board and spine remains strong and bright. Twin smallish (1.5 cm) traces of paper-residue to front and rear paste-downs . Charming vintage finely graphically designed bookplate of a local lodge of the Theosophical Society (pre-1939) adhered to ffep, with two erasable plain-pencilled numbers above it. No other markings found. Printed pages very clean; all pages well-bound. An excellent, very pleasing copy of this early edition, with an interesting history.
