Ltd. | n.d. | £20 | Library records give 1927 for this, the true first edition | Original wave-patterned full blue cloth in vgc+ condition, with very light rubbing to extremities of spine and most outer corners of boards; wear to lower outer corner of front board. Gilt titling to front board still strong and bright; to spine it is partly faded but still decent for the age of the book. Front paste-down with former owner’s address sticker and separate Brotherhood of Light bookseller sticker. Ffep signed in plain pencil by Louise Jones, a likely relative of Marc Edmund Jones, with a plain-pencilled price alongside. Plain-pencilled marginal asterisk and underlining of one word (fully erasable) spotted to p. 78. No permanent internal markings or other faults found. |
