About this Book Scan

Carefully scanned in full colour from our original printing of the first edition of 1900.

The true identity of Hippocrates Junior is unknown to us, but this is an interesting study of epidemiology linked to mundane astrological factors, in addition to containing miscellaneous historical recollections. ‘The Predicted Plague’ frequently features in bibliographies of books dealing with medical astrology because of its subject-matter and its notes on Dr. John Dee, although it is more concerned with the incidence of infectious disease outbreaks in the masses than with individual factors.
