About this Book Scan

Carefully scanned in full colour from our original printings of the first edition of 1900, a number of which (as here) were subsequently bound up by the publisher as two nominal volumes in one.

R. Campbell Thompson (1876-1941) used the opportunity afforded by his position as an assistant in the Department of Egyptian and Assyrian Antiquities at the British Museum to prepare and translate this pioneering edition of ancient astrological reports that were found in the Kouyunjik Collection kept there.
