The rare and sought-after true first edition of this Cyril Fagan title Original card covers in vgc+ condition, with scattered light creasing to front cover, light creasing to lower outer corner of rear cover, light rubbing to top of spine, barely noticeable c. 6mm closed tear to top edge of front cover and 4mm closed tear to top edge of rear cover, and small trace of staining towards lower outer corner of rear cover. Trace of erased plain-pencilled number to upper outer corner of ffep. Internally a near-fine copy except for tiny blue-inked ‘H’-like mark (perhaps intended rather as a double cross to mark a line of interest) to outer margin of p. 53, which is the only marking I could find.
