Fowler & Co., 7, Imperial Arcade, Ludgate Circus, E.C. 4, London n.d. £30 After the original edition thus of 1910. [5] + 125 + [7 pages of advertisements]. Advertising for Alan Leo’s book on Jupiter shows that this printing cannot predate 1917, but early owner’s recorded purchase date to front paste-down equally shows it cannot be later than 1926 Original small-format deep green cloth in vgc for age, with moderate wear to very top of spine and light rubbing to foot of same and to some outer corners of boards. Spine has slight forward lean and is lightly sun-browned. Early owner’s finely handwritten name, home city and date and bookshop of purchase to front paste-down, dated 1926, to lower margin of which is a later printed label of another astrological bookseller. Front blank with old plain-pencilled price. Early pages with occasional plain-pencilled marginal bracketing; a few middle pages with plain-pencilled words added, mostly to margins. No permanent markings or other significant faults found. For its age, a very good copy
