hb/dj Jones, Marc Edmund Essentials of Astrological Analysis 1st Sabian Publishing Society, New York 1960 £85 The true first edition Original full blue cloth in vgc+ condition, with light rubbing to extremities of spine and minimal rubbing to outer corners of boards. Gilt to spine remains fairly strong and bright. In good+ mylar-protected original dj, with one chip lost from top edge of rear panel (approx. 4 cm across by 1 cm deep), a few short tears to top edge of front panel, minimal chipping to tops of spine hinges, light creasing and browning to spine, and creasing to lower margin of rear panel. Front paste-down has had a former inked inscription effaced with permanent marker, else internally near-fine. Half-title page with light plain-pencilled bookseller notes to upper margin. Title page with Llewellyn distributor stamp to lower margin. No markings found beyond this point. Overall, an excellent copy of the sought-after first edition, in good+ dj.
