hb/dj De Vore, Nicholas Encyclopedia of Astrology 6th thus Bonanza Books, a Division of Crown Publishers, Inc. n.d. £35 By arrangement with Philosophical Library, Inc., and retaining their imprint to title page and spine, as issued. Shows only the copyright date of the original 1947 edition within, although the Bonanza / Crown edition is later, probably from the mid-1960s based on the dust jacket advertising. This is the sixth Bonanza impression, as shown by the letter ‘f’ being the first of the letters printed on the copyright page, each of which represents an impression. Original full blue cloth in vgc+ condition, with light rubbing to extremities of spine and outer corners of boards; small bump to top edge of rear board. In newly repaired vgc dj, which had minor chipping to top of spine and feet of spine hinges; both areas have been stabilised with archival book repair tissue to the inside. There was a 1.5 cm tear to top of front flap-fold, but this too has been repaired from the inside with archival book repair tissue. A couple of short closed tears to top edge of rear panel, and minor chipping to foot of rear flap-fold, but overall the dj is now in very good condition for its age. Internally a fine copy, with no markings or faults found
