| hb | Goldstein-Jacobson, Ivy M. | Simplified Horary Astrology | Reprinted | Printed by Pasadena Lithographers, Pasadena, California | 1970 | £55 | First published in 1960, and reprinted several times since then. | Original rose-pink cloth in vgc for age, structurally near-fine, but with traces of dark-staining to boards and spine, and relative fading to silver titling to spine, although to front board only a few letters are partly faded, the rest remaining strong. Some foxing to endpapers, especially at rear. Vintage Macoy Publishing & Masonic Supply Co. semi-circular address label to rear paste-down. Early owner’s inked signature and address to upper margin of ffep, alongside old plain-pencilled price. Otherwise almost entirely free of permanent markings. 1½ words, namely ‘house rul-‘, to p. 267 possibly underlined in black ink, though it could just be strong pencil. Otherwise I could only find traces of plain-pencilled markings to a tiny number of pages, e.g. p. 94 and p. 267. Remains a very good copy inside and out. |
