Interesting vintage black-and-white pictorial bookplate of early owner to front paste-down. Otherwise internally near-fine, with no deliberate previous owner markings. Light outline of rust-staining towards upper outer corners of pp. 26-7 and 29 and to pp. 50-3, caused by removed former paper clips that were once held across the affecting pages; corrected dog-ears to upper outer corners of two leaves. No other faults found. A very good copy, with the traces left by the two removed rusting paper clips the only significant fault found on this sought-after Jones first edition.
