The text is reset in small, dense type (and thus compressed into far fewer pages than the original edition) from one of the 19th century editions dated 1801, although it is impossible to tell whether this in fact means the true 1801 edition or the falsely-dated 1875 edition that retained the 1801 date. The publication credits carried forward to this edition read: “Printed for Lackington, Alley, and Co., Temple of the Muses, Finsbury Square, London, 1801”.
