If you have tried to use the contact form in the past three months since a Windows Update problem trashed my Windows 10 installation, unfortunately I did not receive your message because the email forwarding address previously being used was unavailable as a result of the loss of the previous installation of Windows Live Mail that was set up to receive emails on it.
I’ve now found a way to change email forwarding from the contact form to direct to my external Gmail address, firstname.lastname@example.org, and having tested it, I can report that this is working fine.
Unfortunately, the WordPress plug-in Contact Form 7 does not store messages sent anywhere on the server, so all messages sent during the down time for the forwarding address have been lost.
With luck, this situation should not arise again in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience if you tried to contact me through the form these past few months. Please try again.
